Hello there- I am an artist of sorts went to the acad of fine arts in phila. and your work is amazing> I have painted but not with sincere effort such as your self. I have recently found miniature paintings and i like to reproduce fine paintings on the cielings of miniature houses..my recent endeavor is the crystal hallways with the painted ceilings. 17th c dutch flemish art has always been my true love and many people here in the united states call it dead life...you really bring your work to life. I have recently acquired several books and have found that painting miniatures and painting large canvases are not the same the miniature is not that forgiving...i am in total awe...you obviousely take many hours as well as study your compositions...I have found that being in the usa has it's challenges as in europe you have many things and museums to inspire as well as reseach. i work on miniature illuminations..Have you done any would be interested in hearing from you if you have the time. lovely website and I plan on coming back for inspiration..the girl with the pearl earring is one of my true favorites. I have studied under many artist... do you have any work that exspresses your originality..you and I both know there is no new art Just reworked old art that has inspired...and your work is beautiful...the first comment in your guestbook was from your mom and dad- there was no need to read further..that says it all. doesn't it......later have a great day joyce dorothy rawcliffe.
